NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT, OR ACCEPTANCE OF A PRODUCT OFFER, WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

The Promoter
The promoter of this sweepstakes is Kei Trucks Pty Ltd, a company specializing in importing Japanese Kei Trucks. Throughout these Official Rules, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Kei Trucks Pty Ltd (ABN 88 670 148 428).

Acceptance of Rules
The provisions set forth herein constitute the official rules (“Official Rules”) of the Kei Truck Imports Giveaway Promotion. By participating in this sweepstakes, entrants expressly agree to be bound by these Official Rules, which comprehensively govern all aspects of their participation and the awarding of prizes. These Official Rules complement the Terms and Conditions, which can be found https://keitruckconnect.com/promotion-terms-and-conditions/, outline the general terms of use for our services and additional legal obligations related to participation in the sweepstakes.

The Promotion

  1. Prize Details: This promotion offers participants the chance to win either a 1998 Daihatsu Hijet Kei Truck, currently located in Japan, or a cash prize of $6,500 USD.
  2. Promotion Period: The sweepstakes begins on April 20, 2024, at 5:00 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) and concludes on June 1, 2024, at 5:00 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), known as the closing date. Kei Trucks Pty Ltd’s computer is the official timekeeper for this Promotion.
  3. Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period

Eligibility

  1. Geographic Eligibility: The entry is open only to legal permanent residents (having either a social security number [SSN] or tax identification number [TIN]) in Australia or the United States except for residents of Florida, New York, Rhode Island, all U.S. Territories and Possessions, Overseas Military Installations and wherever else prohibited by law who are ineligible for entry.
  1. Exclusion of Other Locations: Residents from locations other than Australia and the United States excluding residents of Florida, New York, Rhode Island, all U.S. Territories and Possessions, Overseas Military Installations are excluded and ineligible for entry.
  2. Exclusion of Company Affiliates: Employees of Kei Trucks Pty Ltd and their immediate family members, as well as employees of associated agencies, are prohibited from entering the sweepstakes.
  3. Age and Accuracy Requirements: Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and must provide accurate information on the entry form prior to any purchase. 

Alabama and Nebraska: Residents must be 19 years of age or older.

Mississippi: Residents must be 21 years of age or older.

  1. Acceptance of Terms: By entering this sweepstakes, participants expressly agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules and the Terms and Conditions of this promotion, which are available https://keitruckconnect.com/terms-and-conditions/. This acceptance constitutes a legal agreement to adhere to all stipulations contained within these documents.

Entry

  1. No Purchase Necessary: No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win this sweepstakes. A purchase does not increase your chances of winning. This sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.
  2. Online keitruckconnect.com Purchase Method of Entry: Internet access required. During the Promotion Period, you may visit the website at keitruckconnect.com (“Website”) and make a purchase of one or more “sticker” products. For each $1 spent, you will receive one entry into the sweepstakes (“Purchase Entry”). This excludes discounts, sales tax, and shipping charges. There is no limit on the number of entries that may be received with a purchase. If a purchase is returned prior to the drawing, entry/ies associated with that purchase will be voided. During the Promotion Period, entrants will also have the opportunity to opt-in to receive further email communications. Entrants are not required to opt-in for this service in order to participate in this Promotion and opting-in will not increase your chances of winning. If an Entrant chooses to optin, the Entrant thereby grants Kei Trucks Pty Ltd permission to send him/her future communications regarding services, incentives, offers, promotions, or other messaging related to the Kei Trucks Pty Ltd’s services and products, from which Entrant can unsubscribe from at any time.

    Normal internet access, phone, and usage charges imposed by your online or phone service carrier may apply. If you are entering via a mobile device and using your wireless carrier’s network, standard data charges from your wireless carrier may apply.

Current eligible products to enter:

  1. Entry Confirmation: Entrants who use the online entry method will receive their unique entry number(s) via email following their purchase. The entrants information will be stored in Raffle Play Woo Plugin with their entry number.
  2. Mail-in Entry (Free Method): To enter without making a purchase, legibly handwrite your full name, street address, city, state or province, zip or postal code, country, telephone number, and complete e-mail address on a standard 4” x 6” postcard and mail it to: PO Box 43 MOONEE PONDS VIC 3039. Use no outer envelope. Mailed entries received without a verifiable and legible return address will be deemed incomplete and invalid. Limit one entry per outer-mailing envelope. Bulk shipments (multiple entries in one shipping package) will not be accepted. Mail-in entry, including outer-mailing envelope must be handwritten. No mechanically reproduced entries or metered mail permitted. Each mail-in entry will count as one (1) entry, provided that the mail-in entry complies with the above requirements. There is no limit on the number of mail-in entries that you may submit. Mail-in entries that are not in the format specified above, that are illegible, inaccurate, incomplete, or reproduced via photocopier or otherwise will be considered null and void. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt. Not responsible for lost, late, illegible, mutilated, misdirected, postage-due entries or entries not received by the deadline. All material submitted becomes the property of Kei Trucks PTY LTD and will not be returned. No correspondence will be acknowledged or entered into; requests for confirmation of quantity and/or receipt of mail-in entries will not be acknowledged.
  3. Mail-in Entry Confirmation: Entrants will receive their unique entry number(s) via email once their Mail-in entries are counted after the promotions close date.
  4. Either method of entry is considered consent to participate in the promotion.
  5. Deadline for Mail-in Entries: Mail-in entries must be received on or before the closing date of the promotion. Entries received after the closing date will not be eligible.
  6. Entry numbers will start at 110.

Prizes

  1. Prize Options: The winner may choose between receiving a Daihatsu Hijet Kei Truck, delivered to the nearest port (winner is responsible for pickup and any further delivery costs), or opting for a cash prize of $6,500 USD.

  1. Visual Representation: Photos and videos of the Daihatsu Hijet Kei Truck are available for viewing at https://www.keitruckconnect.com/truckphotos. These are intended to provide a fair representation of the prize offered.
  2. Choice of Prize: For clarity, choosing the cash alternative immediately forfeits any entitlement to the truck prize, and conversely, selecting the truck prize forfeits the cash alternative. Once a choice is made, it is final and binding.
  3. Cash Prize Payment: Should the cash option be selected, the payment will be made via direct deposit. The winner is responsible for any applicable bank fees or international transaction fees, which will be deducted from the prize amount.
  4. Currency Conversion: If applicable, the conversion of the cash prize to the winner’s local currency will be based on the exchange rates effective on the day of payment.

The Draw

  1. The winner will be drawn on the 4th of June 2024 at 6:00 AM Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
  2. The winner will be drawn using youtogift.com’s random number generator. The number will be matched with Raffle Play Woo’s database to confirm the winner.
  3. The number generation and winner selection will be live-streamed on Instagram at 6:00 AM July 4th 2024 Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
  4. All winners will also be contacted via email immediately following the draw and published on www.instagram.com/keitrucksas (instagram) for a minimum period of 28 days. The winner may be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability, Prize Acceptance Form, and where lawful, a Publicity Release along with a copy of his/her valid driver’s license and will be required to complete a W-9 Tax form (collectively the “Documents”). All documents must be returned within 28 days of being contacted. 
  5. All taxes, including but not limited to federal, state, local, and income taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner is responsible for obtaining independent advice and services related to tax obligations, including but not limited to determining the taxable nature of their prize and fulfilling all related tax obligations in their jurisdiction of residence. Kei Trucks Pty Ltd assumes no responsibility or liability for any taxes or fees associated with the receipt or use of any prize awarded in this promotion. The winner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Kei Trucks Pty Ltd from any and all claims, losses, liabilities, or damages that may arise from the failure to comply with tax laws and regulations applicable to the prize received.
  6. If a winner cannot be contacted or if he/she fails to sign and return required documents or respond to a notification within 28 days, or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable, or in the event a potential winner is deemed ineligible, fails to comply with the Official Rules, or is unable to claim the prize as specified, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries. Prize award is contingent on eligibility verification and potential winner completing and returning all required Documents. If Kei Trucks Pty Ltd, is unable to determine and verify a potential winner after repeated alternate drawings, or if they fail to receive a sufficient number of entries to correspond to the number of prize(s) available to be awarded, Kei Trucks Pty Ltd reserves the right to not award any or all of the prize(s).

General

  1. Any disputes will be resolved at the discretion of Kei Trucks Pty Ltd.
  1. Entrants’ personal information will be used for the purpose of conducting the promotion and may be used for future marketing purposes by Kei Trucks Pty Ltd.
  1. If you win, you must take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity we reasonably require, without any compensation. By participating in the promotion and accepting any prize, you consent to us using your name and/or image in any promotional or advertising activity. However, we will never publish your full address.
  1. We may require you to sign disclaimer and release forms in favour of Kei Trucks Pty Ltd and/or our prize suppliers, which we will provide before taking a prize. If you do not sign, your entry will be deemed invalid and you will lose any right to a prize.
  1. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who:
  1. is found to be tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this promotion;
  2. we have reason to believe has breached any of these conditions;
  3. behaves in a disruptive, abusive or threatening manner;
  4. does anything that may diminish the good name and reputation of us or any of our related entities or the companies or agencies associated with this promotion; or
  5. engages in any other unlawful or inappropriate conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this promotion.
  1. Participant privacy and data protection are paramount. All personal information collected during this promotion will be used solely for the purpose of managing the sweepstakes and awarding prizes. Personal data will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent from the participants, except as required by law or necessary to fulfill promotional obligations.
