Introducing Kailey Alberts, the proud Kei truck enthusiast. Join us as we unveil her epic tale of unearthing, and transforming this compact marvel, taking her from rugged backroads to thrilling daily escapades in Massachusetts, USA.
How did you first encounter the Kei truck greatness?
I first encountered the Kei truck greatness when I saw one for the first time driving down a back road. I immediately did my research and figured out how to buy one for myself.
Tell us your Kei truck story, how did you acquire your badass ride?
I got my Kei truck off Facebook marketplace. I bought it off a guy who had imported it earlier this year. It had never been registered in the states though, so I am technically it’s first owner here.
Any mods or plans? Share the details!
I plan putting on a 2” lift kit , rims, mud tires, and a roll bar for some extra fun!
What do you mainly use your Kei Truck for?
I mainly use my truck as a daily driver. I also use it for work just taking heavy loads out to the dumpsters. It’s a very fun truck for small road trips to the beach, drive ins, and concerts.
Have any wild Kei Truck tales or fun facts about your ride?
My fun fact is it only takes 5 people to lift the truck.
Favorite thing about owning a Kei truck?
My favorite thing about owning a Kei truck, is that it’s a Kei truck. There’s no other way to explain just how great they are unless you’ve driven/experienced once. They’re just a lot of fun. and the turn radius on these babies is insane! It’s also really fun how short the gears are, it’s like driving a manual golf cart.
Where can we follow you for your Kei truck action? Tell us your socials!
You can follow me on Instagram @kailey.0721 , that is my only social 🙂

I’m the proud daddy of that Kei truck. I just flew into Massachusetts and we hung out and took the Kei out on lots of rides, funniest things were getting thumbs up from old people! Lol and miss Andretti can bang through those gear and beat most autos off the line and in the 1/8 mile. It’s a sick little ride. I’m all into dropping in a 302 cid with no driveshaft. If you get where I’m going with this, I’m a retired 1/4 mile drag racer with my two rides pushing 700& 800 hp. So I was glad she wants a roll cage. Literally so she can rock n roll ! Lol a bit of daddy dry humor. Love Dad
